Mira Sol Creative is artist by nature, designer by nurture, Miranda Sowell.
In 2005, Miranda earned her B.F.A in Visual Communication from the University of Oklahoma. She is currently the Visual Communications Design Specialist for The University of Oklahoma Graduate College, where she is responsible for the design and development of their visual identity system and brand to increase the awareness of the OU Graduate College and graduate programs among various populations, especially prospective students, current graduate faculty, staff & students, and alumni.
When Miranda is not designing for the Graduate College, she can usually be found collecting, creating and expressing in or out of her home studio.
Miranda is especially fond of "divine design" or things designed by nature, things designed by hand (e.g., sign painting and hand lettering), the design process, and thinking about effective visual communication.
