Because it’s our family’s creation story, my cousin asked me to draw an idea he had for a tattoo that conveys the story of our grandparent’s move from Norman Oklahoma, where our grandfather studied and played football for the University of Oklahoma and where our grandmother gave birth to their first child, to Midland Texas, where most of us grew up. Now we are scattered about but it is because of this journey that we are family.
