Design Process: Quality of Life Logo
Logo design for the graduate student quality of life initiative, which is a collaboration between the OU Graduate College and Dr. Tim Davidson from the OU Human Relations graduate program.
The Quality of Life initiative is a three phase project that is currently assessing how OU programs meet the needs of graduate students.
The logo was designed to encompass all three letters of the Quality of Life acronym (QoL), while reading as a single letter.
Design Thinkers 2010
I really wish I could go to this conference but the timing is off. Maybe next year! But in the meantime, I can at least feel comfort in knowing that others will be there discussing this:
“Design thinking has never been more important. Technology has democratized design, putting the power to create in the hands of everyone. But design is about more than creation. ‘Design Thinking’ will not be replaced by technology. And it is what will keep this profession relevant and valued. “
Amen to this and to thinking like a designer!
